"What a great weekend! The Band Jam Grass Roots Music Festival was as good as ever. We already can't wait till next year, we wish weekends like this never had to end." It was great to be part of something so special. The level of talent these guys brought out to band jam was a musicians paradise. Bob Cupp and Utah Burgess and team at Grass Roots on The Rock Station 97.7 worked their asses off to provide an experience for everyone that trekked out for the weekend. Anytime you can get your friends together at a magical little campground you know you are in for a treat but this being our first year up we were blown away. So, in closing, I highly suggest checking this out next year if this is your cup of tea.so to speak. I am certainly going to be checking out 97.7 fm a lot more. this event features original bands, with only a few covers thrown in occasionally. The setting was 's like a sort of natural amphitheater. "I must say, this event surpassed my expectations. A 10$ donation will get anyone over 21 a band to sample great brews, with the proceeds benefitting TASOW - The Awesome Spirit of Wildlife, a local non-profit organization. The 2023 Band Jam will take place August 25 and 26, with live music beginning Friday the 25th at 5pm, and beginning again on Saturday the 26th at 11 am. Cooper's Lake is world renowned for such events as Pennsic, The Bantam Jeep Heritage Festival, Resonance Festival, Tough Mudder, and the Pyrotechnics Guild International Convention.
